Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Laguna Beach Breakers (Laguna Beach, CA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Sailors now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodbridge for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 1. Newport Harbor will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over King (Riverside, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, Laguna Beach falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Breakers host Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA) to battle the Barons in a Sunset Wave challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Barons enter the challenge with a record of 12-4. Fountain Valley won 8-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Brea Olinda (Brea, CA)
