Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA), 4-3 in a league challenge.

The Dons now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chavez for a East Valley challenge on Wednesday, April 6.

With the loss, North Hollywood falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Chavez (San Fernando, CA) to battle the Eagles in a East Valley challenge on Friday, April 1. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 9-2. Chavez won 21-0 in their recent league challenge against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)
