The Charleston Tigers baseball team (Charleston, MS), was overwhelmed 20-13 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS)

The Tigers now hold a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun City for a 2A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, April 4.

Next, the Tigers confront the J.Z. George Jaguars (North Carrollton, MS) in a 2A Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, April 4. Charleston will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 0-5 record after their 15-0 league loss to Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS).
