In Thursday's league game, the visiting Chicago University Maroons baseball team scored a tight 12-8 victory over the Northridge Knights.
The Maroons (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Grayslake Central was overwhelmed by LaBelle (LaBelle, FL), 4-3, in a non-league game.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Mather (Chicago, IL). The Rangers go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Mather tipped Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL), 11-0, in a league game.
