The Sussex Central Tigers baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Franklin Broncos to 2 in the Tigers league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Southampton (Courtland, VA). The Indians go into the Tri-Rivers match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Southampton gained a win over Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA), 15-4, in a league match.
The Broncos (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Lunenburg Central gained a win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA), 6-3, in a league match.
