North Carolina High School Baseball - Southern Nash loses to Franklinton

In Thursday's league game, the host Franklinton Rams baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Southern Nash Firebirds.

The Rams (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC). The Bulldogs go into the The Big East 2A/3A game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Nash Central tipped Roanoke Rapids (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 8-6, in a league game.

The Firebirds (5-4) will now prepare for their game against D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 8-2 record. In their last game, D.H. Conley was overwhelmed by South Central (Winterville, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
