Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Greeneville Greene Devils (Greeneville, TN) and the host Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN), saw Greeneville's baseball squad beat Sullivan East by a margin of 7-0.
Coming up next, the Greene Devils play the Cocke County Fighting Cocks (Newport, TN) in a 3A District 2 battle, on Monday, April 3. Greeneville will attempt to better on its 12-0 season record. The Fighting Cocks enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to King's Academy (Seymour, TN).
The Patriots now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Daniel Boone for a non-league battle on Friday, March 31. Sullivan East will play a Trailblazers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN). The Trailblazers record now stands at 4-0.
