In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Gretna Dragons baseball team scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs.
The Dragons (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Bellevue West tipped Omaha Central (Omaha, NE), 14-3, in a non-league game.
The Monarchs (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln Southwest (Lincoln, NE). The Silver Hawks go into the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Lincoln Southwest tipped Norfolk (Norfolk, NE), 20-4, in a non-league game.
