Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Lehighton gets by Tamaqua

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) and the visiting Tamaqua Blue Raiders (Tamaqua, PA), saw Lehighton's baseball squad knock off Tamaqua by a count of 14-11.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 battle, on Tuesday, April 4. Lehighton will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Crimson Tide enter the battle with a 0-4 record after their 11-2 league loss to North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA).

The Blue Raiders now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 1. Tamaqua will play a Spartans squad coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Pen Argyl (Pen Argyl, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
