South Carolina High School Baseball - Westwood loses to Lugoff-Elgin

The Lugoff-Elgin Demons baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Westwood Redhawks to 3 in the Demons league victory on Thursday.
The Demons (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC). The Cavaliers come into the 4A Region 5 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Richland Northeast was overwhelmed by A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC), 15-3, in a league challenge.
With the defeat, Westwood falls to 3-5 on the season. The Redhawks host Ridge View (Columbia, SC) to encounter the Blazers in a 4A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Ridge View lost 21-17 in their recent league challenge against Irmo (Columbia, SC)
