The Newkirk Tigers baseball team scored 23 runs and limited the host Shidler Tigers to 3 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Buccaneers go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Tonkawa gained a win over Pawnee (Pawnee, OK), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Cimarron (Lahoma, OK). The Trailblazers go into the non-league match with a 2-12 record. In their last match, Cimarron was overwhelmed by Dover (Dover, OK), 17-8, in a league match.
