Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Side Gators (Shelby, MS), 14-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Greenville (Greenville, MS) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 0-12. Greenville lost 15-5 in their recent league test against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)

With the defeat, North Side falls to 1-2 on the season. The Gators travel to Leland (Leland, MS) to battle the Cubs in a 2A Region 3 test on Tuesday, April 4. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 3-6. Leland lost 17-3 in their recent league test against Strayhorn (Sarah, MS)
