The Ottawa Pirates baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Streator Bulldogs to 3 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (6-2) will now prepare for their match against Somonauk (Somonauk, IL). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Somonauk was overwhelmed by Plano (Plano, IL), 6-3, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their match against LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, LaSalle-Peru edged Dunlap (Dunlap, IL), 3-0, in a non-league match.
