The Piketon Redstreaks crushed the visiting Wellston Golden Rockets baseball team by a count of 10-3 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Redstreaks now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zane Trace for a Scioto Valley bout on Monday, April 3. Piketon will face a Pioneers team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Logan Elm (Circleville, OH). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Golden Rockets face the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) in a Tri-Valley - Ohio bout, on Friday, March 31. Wellston will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Buckeyes enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Trimble (Glouster, OH).
