The Grossmont Foothillers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host El Capitan Vaqueros to 0 in the Foothillers league victory on Thursday.

The Foothillers now have a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Cajon Valley for a Grossmont Hills contest on Tuesday, April 18.

With the loss, El Capitan moves to 0-16 on the year. The Vaqueros host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, March 31. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 10-10. Steele Canyon won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA)
