In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Ponderosa Bruins volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Lincoln Fighting Zebras.

The Bruins (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners come into the Foothill Valley battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Nevada Union nudged Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Fighting Zebras clash with the West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley battle, on Tuesday, April 11. Lincoln will attempt to advance on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Placer (Auburn, CA).
