The Soquel Knights volleyball team (Soquel, CA), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Santa Cruz Cardinals (Santa Cruz, CA)

The Cardinals (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Branham (San Jose, CA). The Bruins go into the non-league bout with a 8-2 record. In their last bout, Branham got by Prospect (Saratoga, CA), 3-0, in a league bout.

The Knights now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Everett Alvarez for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 1. Soquel will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-9.
