In Thursday's non-league contest, the South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL) softball team the host Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), by a margin of 13-10.

With the triumph, South Elgin moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Storm host Lockport (Lockport, IL) to play the Porters in a non-league contest on Saturday, April 15. The Porters come into the contest with a record of 5-0.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 30. Oswego will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
