In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Watauga Pioneers soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the St. Stephens Indians.
The Pioneers (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record.
The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Statesville by North Iredell (Olin, NC), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
