West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC), 11-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Colts confront the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge, on Monday, April 3. West Stanly will attempt to better on its 11-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 7-0 league win over Parkwood (Monroe, NC).

The Bearcats now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monroe for a Rocky River 2A/3A challenge on Monday, April 3. Anson will confront a Redhawks team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Redhawks record now stands at 1-4.
