The North Mustangs got by the visiting Maryvale Panthers baseball team by a count of 9-8 in Thursday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cesar Chavez for a non-league bout on Monday, April 3. North will face a Champions team coming off a 13-11 league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 5-2.
Next, the Panthers face the Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a bout, on Tuesday, April 4. Maryvale will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 0-5 record after their 11-10 non-league loss to Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ).
