In Thursday's league test, the host James F. Byrnes Rebels lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 victory over the Spartanburg Vikings.
The Rebels now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host White Knoll for a non-league test on Saturday, April 1. James F. Byrnes will face a Timberwolves squad coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 31. Spartanburg will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record.
