In Thursday's league battle, the host T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Hillcrest Rams.

The Yellow Jackets (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mauldin (Mauldin, SC). The Mavericks come into the AAAAA Region 1 battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Mauldin nudged Woodmont (Piedmont, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
