North Carolina High School Softball - Central Academy Anson

March 30, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112

In Thursday's league contest, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) softball team the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 6-3.

With the triumph, Anson moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC) to play the Golden Rams in a non-league contest on Monday, April 3. The Golden Rams come into the contest with a record of 2-3. Chesterfield lost 6-5 in their recent non-league contest against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)

In their next game, the Cougars play the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Monday, April 3. Central Academy will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 16-0 league win over Monroe (Monroe, NC).
