The Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) softball triumphed over the host Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC), 18-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 3. Jackson-Reed will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Banneker falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host School Without Walls (Washington, DC) to face the Penguins in a challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Penguins enter the challenge with a record of 4-0.
