Bay Tigers (Bay St. Louis, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Patrick for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. Bay will battle a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 18-5 league win over Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Stone falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Tomcats travel to Perry Central (New Augusta, MS) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 1. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 8-10. Perry Central lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS)
