The Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL) softball routed the host Sylacauga Aggies (Sylacauga, AL), 12-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their bout against Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL). The Indians go into the 6A Area 4 bout with a 34-1 record. In their last bout, Wetumpka toppled Lanier (Montgomery, AL), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Aggies now possess a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Alabama Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, March 31. Sylacauga will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Trinity Presbyterian (Montgomery, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 6-12.
