Pennsylvania High School Softball - Jefferson-Morgan bounces California

The Jefferson-Morgan Rockets (Jefferson, PA) softball routed the host California Trojans (Coal Center, PA), 16-6 in Thursday's league bout.

The Rockets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Brownsville (Brownsville, PA). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Brownsville was routed by Berwick (Berwick, PA), 13-6, in a non-league challenge.

With the loss, California falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA) to battle the Buccaneers in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Monday, April 3. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Chartiers-Houston lost 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA)
