The Captain Shreve Gators softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Castor Tigers to 7 in the Gators non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Captain Shreve improves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Gators host Weston (Jonesboro, LA) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league game on Monday, April 3. The Wolves come into the game with a record of 3-9. Weston lost 12-10 in their recent non-league battle against Georgetown (Georgetown, LA)

The Tigers now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Logansport for a non-league battle on Friday, March 31.
