The Goddard Rockets softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Clovis Wildcats to 4 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Goddard moves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Rockets travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A District 4 game on Thursday, April 6. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 9-5. Lovington won 17-1 in their recent non-league game against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM)
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Portales Rams (Portales, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 4. Clovis will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 6-4 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Dexter (Dexter, NM).
