Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL) and the host Waltonville Spartans (Waltonville, IL), witnessed DuQuoin's softball squad tip Waltonville by a count of 14-11.

The Indians now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Carterville for a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi match on Monday, April 3.
