West Virginia High School Softball - Preston bounces East Fairmont

The Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) softball routed the host East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV), 15-5 in Thursday's league bout.

The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Tigers go into the Big Ten bout with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Elkins was routed by Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 14-3, in a non-league bout.

The Bees now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Oak Glen for a non-league bout on Friday, March 31. East Fairmont will confront a Golden Bears squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-5.
