In Thursday's non-league contest, the Gadsden County Jaguars (Havana, FL) softball team overwhelmed the host Jefferson County Tigers (Monticello, FL), by a margin of 8-3.

With the triumph, Gadsden County moves its record to 1-8 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Godby (Tallahassee, FL) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 2-4.

In their next game, the Tigers play the Wakulla Christian School Saints (Crawfordville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 31. Jefferson County will attempt to move on its 0-5 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Altha (Altha, FL).
