The Hamilton Lions softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Vardaman Rams to 2 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Hamilton moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Amory (Amory, MS) to play the Panthers in a non-league game on Friday, March 31. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 3-6. Amory won 10-5 in their recent league game against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS)

In their next game, the Rams play the Water Valley Blue Devils (Water Valley, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 4. Vardaman will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 9-7 record after their 20-3 league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS).
