Illinois High School Softball - Providence Catholic gets by Lincoln-Way Central

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Providence Catholic Celtics (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), witnessed Providence Catholic's softball squad tip Lincoln-Way Central by a count of 4-3.
The Celtics now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Loyola Academy for a GCAC- Red match on Monday, April 3.
With the loss, Lincoln-Way Central moves to 2-2 on the season. The Knights host Marist (Chicago, IL) to face the RedHawks in a non-league match on Monday, April 3. The RedHawks go into the match with a record of 2-1.
