North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Chiefs now own a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 31. North Jackson will face a Warriors squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Tullahoma (Tullahoma, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.

With the loss, New Hope falls to 12-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. St. John Paul II lost 16-0 in their recent league challenge against West Limestone (Lester, AL)
