The Priest River Spartans softball team (Priest River, ID), was routed 23-5 in Thursday's non-league test with the visiting Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA)

Coming up next, the Grizzlies encounter the Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA) in a 1A Northeast test, on Wednesday, April 12. Newport will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record.

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Orofino (Orofino, ID). The Maniacs enter the 2A Central Idaho test with a 3-1 record.
