In Thursday's league contest, the Rockridge Rockets (Taylor Ridge, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), by a margin of 15-0.
With the triumph, Rockridge moves its record to 6-0 on the year. The Rockets host Sherrard (Sherrard, IL) to play the Tigers in a Three Rivers West contest on Monday, April 3. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 4-2. Sherrard won 8-3 in their recent league contest against Morrison (Morrison, IL)
In their next game, the Chargers play the Erie-Prophetstown Panthers (Erie, IL) in a Three Rivers West contest, on Monday, April 3. Orion will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Mercer County (Aledo, IL).
