The Puckett Wolves the host Stringer Red Devils softball squad by a count of 6-4 in Thursday's league battle.

The Wolves (16-1) will now prepare for their battle against Florence (Florence, MS). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Florence by Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS), 7-5, in a non-league battle.

The Red Devils now sport a 10-8 record. They play next when they host Mize for a 2A Region 8 battle on Friday, March 31. Stringer will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Collins (Collins, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-7.
