The Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) baseball trounced the host South Newton Rebels (Kentland, IN), 23-5 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a Wabash River contest, on Monday, April 1. Fountain Central will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 24-2 non-league win over Dugger Union (Dugger, IN).

The Rebels now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North White for a Midwest contest on Friday, April 5.
