The Pleasant Grove Hawks baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Sulphur Springs Wildcats to 1 in the Hawks league victory on Saturday.
The Hawks (14-7) will now prepare for their match against North Lamar (Paris, TX). The Panthers go into the 4A Region II District 15 match with a 9-14 record. In their last match, North Lamar was overwhelmed by Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX), 13-3, in a league match.
The Wildcats (5-17) will now prepare for their match against Paris (Paris, TX). The Wildcats go into the 4A Region II District 15 match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Paris tipped Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX), 10-9, in a league match.
