The Quitman Wolverines baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Stanley Panthers to 4 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wolverines (12-7) will now prepare for their match against Doyline (Doyline, LA). The Panthers go into the B District 1 match with a 9-7 record.
The Panthers (14-7) will now prepare for their match against Converse (Converse, LA). The Wildcats go into the B District 3 match with a 10-12 record. In their last match, Converse was edged by Loyola College Prep (Shreveport, LA), 10-0, in a non-league match.
