The Lyons Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hinsdale South Hornets to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel for a non-league game on Saturday, March 30. Lyons will meet a Caravan team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Caravan record now stands at 4-7.
The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Oak Lawn dropped by Reavis (Burbank, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
