Next, the Bulldogs confront the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 1. Staunton will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL).

The Comets now have a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Litchfield for a South Central challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Greenville will confront a Purple Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Highland (Highland, IL). The Purple Panthers record now stands at 2-3.
