The Canyon Springs Pioneers baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Cheyenne Desert Shields to 7 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pioneers (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Bulldogs go into the match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Virgin Valley was overwhelmed by Non JV Opponent (, ), 11-3, in a non-league match.
The Desert Shields (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV). The Roadrunners go into the match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Southeast Career Tech ran past Cheyenne (North Las Vegas, NV), 18-0, in a league match.
