In Saturday's non-league game, the host John Jay Wolves baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Lakeland Hornets.

The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.

The Hornets now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Yorktown for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 2.
