The Berkeley Stags overwhelmed the host Daniel Lions softball team by a margin of 8-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
With the triumph, Berkeley moves its record to 8-5 on the year. The Stags travel to Cane Bay (Summerville, SC) to play the Cobras in a AAAAA Region 6 contest on Wednesday, April 10. The Cobras come into the contest with a record of 5-5. Cane Bay lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Hanahan (Hanahan, SC)
In their next game, the Lions play the Walhalla Razorbacks (Walhalla, SC) in a AAA Region 1 contest, on Tuesday, April 2. Daniel will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Razorbacks come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 12-1 league loss to Pendleton (Pendleton, SC).
