The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) and the host Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), saw Goddard's softball squad nip Clovis by a count of 8-6.

The Rockets now sport a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bernalillo for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 3. Goddard will face a Spartans squad coming off a 20-2 league win over Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Clovis falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Eunice (Eunice, NM) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 2. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 1-6. Eunice lost 13-3 in their recent league match against Loving (Loving, NM)
