Ridgevue Warhawks (Nampa, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID), 21-0 in a league challenge.

The Warhawks now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mountain View for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. Ridgevue will battle a Mavericks squad coming off a 20-9 league win over Meridian (Meridian, ID). The Mavericks record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Columbia falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Emmett (Emmett, ID) to battle the Huskies in a 4A Southern Idaho challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Emmett won 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Fruitland (Fruitland, ID)
