In Saturday's league contest, the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) softball team overwhelmed the host Concrete Lions (Concrete, WA), by a margin of 29-11.
With the triumph, Orcas Island moves its record to 2-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Monday, April 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-3. Granite Falls won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)
The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their test against LaConner (LaConner, WA). The Braves come into the 1B/2B Northwest test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, LaConner was routed by Sultan (Sultan, WA), 19-4, in a non-league test.
